Who We Are
The Propeller Club of Northern California supports maritime commerce through promoting the interests of: U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, ocean carriers, tug and barge operators, U.S. ports, shipbuilders, freight forwarders, terminal operators, pilots, tug and barge operators, marine exchanges, ship agents, maritime labor (SIU and ILWU, etc.), our maritime academies (California Maritime Academy, etc.) and many more organizations.
We have embarked on an effort to encourage more minorities, women and young people to discover and work in the maritime industry.
The U.S. maritime industry will be a pacesetter in: moving more freight by water, building more ships in the United States, creating more U.S. jobs for mariners and shipbuilders, increasing offshore wind power and lowering marine transport’s carbon footprint.
The Propeller Club of Northern California is a branch of The International Propeller Club of the United States, a grassroots, non-profit 501(c)6 organization, whose membership resides throughout the U.S. and the world.
