Who We Are
The Propeller Club of Northern California is a branch of The International Propeller Club of the United States, a grassroots, non-profit 501(c)6 organization, whose membership resides throughout the U.S. and the world. It is dedicated to the enhancement well-being of all interests of the maritime community on a national and international basis.
Our club aggressively promotes the maritime industry through many of its programs and partnering with other similar organizations, including the San Francisco Marine Exchange, The Navy League, and the Student Propeller Club at the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo. Our goal is to educate legislators and the public as to the importance and necessity of waterborne commerce.
Our Club Continues to Grow
On behalf of the Propeller Club Board of Directors I want to thank you for your support in our recent growth. We promise to work hard to offer outstanding speakers and events as we go forward. In today’s business environment there is considerable competition to attract members. Because of this many clubs have ceased to exist. It is our intention to attract not only members associated with transportation but also other professions as there are so many issues that affect all of us. The greater the understanding the better we can perform our work. –John Amos, President, The Propeller Club of Northern California
